Terms & Conditions
Last updated 5 October 2026
These Terms are a contract between you and Gal Blank, an individual residing in New Jersey, United States, who develops and operates RekAi ("RekAi", "we", "us"). RekAi is not a company; "we" is used for readability. They govern your use of the RekAi mobile application and this website (together, the "Service").
By downloading or using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service. Please read section 4 (health and safety) and section 16 (arbitration and class action waiver) carefully — they affect your legal rights.

1. What the Service is
RekAi generates individual exercise sessions and training programmes based on information you provide — your available equipment, the time you have, your training experience and any injuries you describe — and guides you through those sessions with timers, audio cues and movement demonstrations. It records what you log so future sessions can build on it.
We may change, add or remove features. We may also suspend the Service for maintenance. We will not materially reduce what a paid subscription provides during a period you have already paid for.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Your account
You can use the Service without registering. If you register — with Apple, Google, or an email address and password — you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised.
An unregistered account exists only on the installation that created it. If you delete the app, change device or clear its data without registering, that history cannot be recovered.
4. Health and safety — please read
RekAi provides general fitness and exercise information. It is not medical advice, not a medical device, and not a substitute for a physician, physiotherapist or qualified trainer.
- Consult a physician before beginning any exercise programme, particularly if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, are recovering from injury or surgery, or have been inactive.
- Exercise carries an inherent risk of injury, including serious injury. You take part at your own risk.
- Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath or discomfort, and seek medical attention.
- Describing an injury to the coach causes it to programme differently. It does not mean the resulting session is safe for your specific condition. Only a qualified professional who has examined you can tell you that.
- You are responsible for using equipment correctly and safely, for working within your ability, and for deciding whether to attempt any movement, load or session the Service suggests.
- Never attempt a heavy or overhead lift without a spotter or appropriate safety equipment where one is needed.
5. Automatically generated training
Sessions, programmes, coaching messages and demonstrations are produced by automated systems, including large language models. Such systems can produce output that is inaccurate, inappropriate for you, or simply wrong, and they can do so confidently.
Use your judgement. Treat generated training as a suggestion from software, not an instruction from a professional who has assessed you. Do not attempt anything that seems unsafe, beyond your ability or contrary to advice you have been given by a healthcare professional. Demonstration imagery is illustrative and may not depict perfect form.
6. Free sessions
The Service currently includes a number of complete sessions at no charge and without payment details: three without an account, and seven in total once you register. These allowances are per account, are not transferable, have no cash value, and may change for new users. Creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free sessions is a breach of section 9.
7. Subscriptions and billing
After the free allowance, continued use of session generation requires a paid subscription, offered on a monthly and a yearly term. Both grant the same access.
- Payment is taken by Apple or Google, not by us, through the account you use on that store. We never receive your card details.
- The price and billing period shown in the app at the moment of purchase are the ones that apply, in your own storefront's currency. Prices quoted on this website are in US dollars and are indicative.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, at the then-current price, until cancelled.
- Cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- We may change prices. A change takes effect at your next renewal and only after the store has given you the notice its rules require. You may cancel before it takes effect.
- Your access is determined by the store receipt we verify. If a store reports a subscription as expired, refunded or revoked, access ends.
8. Refunds
Purchases are made through Apple or Google, and refunds are governed by that store's policy and granted at its discretion — we cannot issue them ourselves. Request a refund through Apple Support or Google Play Support. Where the law where you live gives you a statutory right to a refund or a cancellation period, that right is unaffected by this section. If something has gone wrong, tell us and we will help where we can.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the app, or attempt to defeat the subscription or free-allowance checks;
- use automated means to access the Service, or use it to build a competing product or dataset;
- create accounts in bulk, or create accounts to obtain extra free sessions;
- submit content that is unlawful, abusive, infringing or deliberately misleading, or impersonate anyone;
- interfere with the Service's operation or security, or attempt to access another user's data;
- resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Service or its generated content.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial training.
10. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text, exercise library, demonstration imagery, audio and the RekAi name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. These Terms grant you a licence to use the Service, not ownership of any part of it. Nothing here transfers any trademark right.
11. Your content
What you enter — your profile, your messages to the coach and the sets you log — remains yours. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process and display it for the purpose of operating and improving the Service, including sending the relevant parts to the providers described in the Privacy Policy so a session can be generated. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backups pending deletion and anything we must retain by law.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you tell the coach. Training is generated from it.
12. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties including Apple, Google, Google Firebase, Google Cloud, Twilio and Telnyx. Your use of those services is also governed by their terms. We are not responsible for their acts, omissions or availability.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that generated training will be accurate, appropriate or suitable for you, or that using it will produce any particular result. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Service, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) fifty US dollars ($50).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gal Blank and any contractor or agent acting on RekAi's behalf from any claim, liability, damage, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
16. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
Talk to us first
Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us and give us 30 days to resolve the matter informally. Most things can be fixed this way.
Binding arbitration
If we cannot resolve it, you and we agree that any dispute will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief for infringement or misuse of intellectual property. Arbitration will take place in New Jersey or, at your election, in your home county, or by telephone or video.
Class action waiver
You and we agree that claims may be brought only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, consolidated or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over a representative action. If this paragraph is held unenforceable, the whole of "Binding arbitration" above is void.
Your right to opt out
You may opt out of arbitration and the class action waiver by sending written notice to galblank@gmail.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, stating your name and that you opt out. Opting out affects nothing else in these Terms.
If you are a consumer outside the United States
Nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of the country where you live, or of the right to bring proceedings in your local courts where that law gives you it.
17. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account in the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service — with reasonable notice where circumstances allow. If we terminate without cause while you hold a paid subscription, we will refund the unused portion of the period you have paid for. Sections 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 19 survive termination.
18. App Store and Google Play terms
Where you obtained the app from Apple's App Store, the following apply and Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms, entitled to enforce them against you:
- These Terms are between you and us only, not with Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content.
- Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app.
- Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the app, including product liability, failure to conform to legal requirements, and consumer protection or privacy claims.
- Apple is not responsible for investigating, defending, settling or discharging any third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting", and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Your use of the app must comply with the applicable Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
Where you obtained the app from Google Play, your use is additionally subject to the Google Play Terms of Service, and Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app.
19. General
These Terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest stands. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to a person or company that takes over operating the Service, including a company formed to run it. We may update these Terms and will move the "last updated" date; where a change is material we will give notice in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to use the Service afterwards means you accept it.
20. Text messages
RekAi Coach texts. Anyone can text the RekAi number to have the coach build a free workout; you do not need the app. The coach replies with a short question or two and then a link to the workout. Your first text from a new number creates a guest account for that number. App users can also link a number in the app (Profile > Text your coach), which sends a one-time code. Free workouts by text are limited; the app is needed for more. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
- Consent. You opt in by texting the RekAi number, or by entering your number in the app and typing back the code we text to it. We only ever reply to conversations you start. Opting in is optional and is not a condition of using the Service or of any purchase.
- Frequency. Message frequency varies. We reply when you text us, typically two to four messages per session you request.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.
- Stopping. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will get one confirmation and nothing further. You can also unlink your number in the app at any time. Reply START to opt back in.
- Help. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at galblank@gmail.com.
- Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Eligibility. Texting the coach is available on US and Canadian mobile numbers.
- Privacy. How we handle your number and messages is described in our Privacy Policy. Mobile information is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
